How to manage permissions via the Alleo Portal.

Within the Alleo Portal there is a permissions section in which you can control the view and edit rights of employees with an Alleo Account. In this article, we will explain the meaning and possibilities of each setting.


Assigning rights

From the employee overview, you can navigate to an employee's details page to configure their rights.

Within this Permissions section, you'll find various options, depending on the Alleo modules used within your organization.

If you would like to grant manager permissions to a colleague, you need to have toggled on: Permissions management 'Manage user permissions and settings'. There is always one manager active, that has those rights, and who could grant them to you.


User Role Access

  • Manager: can log into the portal.
    - Manager with permissions management rights: can manage permissions for other employees.

  • Employee: can only log into the Alleo app. An employee can only log into the Alleo Portal, if the Access to the portal toggle is enabled, but will not have permission management access.

How to Add or Change Permissions

  1. Log in to the Alleo Portal.

  2. Navigate to the Manage > Employees > Overview tab.

  3. Select the employee whose permissions need updating.

  4. Go to the Permissions tab to add or modify access.



📌 If you need to change your own permissions, you can ask another HR manager with portal access to update them for you.
