Flex pension reporting feature in the Admin Portal

In the Alleo Portal you, as a manager, can view and export employee flex pension payout preferences.

In this article, you will learn about the Pension section in the Alleo portal, which allows you to:

  • Export detailed reports for employee flex pension payout preferences

    • Employees can choose:

      • Pension

      • Salary (default options for user’s who don’t make a selection)

      • Split payment between pension and salary

  • Run these reports:

    • Monthly

    • Quarterly

    • Yearly

    • All time

  • See mutations when employees change their preference between selection periods


Set the flex pension selection period


Flex pension payout preference can be set on the following cadence:

  • Monthly - Choose and change preference every month

  • Quarterly - Choose and change preference every quarter

  • Half-Year - Choose and change preference every 6 months

  • Yearly - Choose and change preference once a year

This configuration can be adjusted by contacting the Customer Success team. For each period listed above there is a selection window that is open.

Current period open indicates the timeframe during which employees can update their payout preferences.

*The default selection is a Salary payout, if no choice is made during the selecting period.


Access the Pension Tab


To access the Pension tab and view employee-related information, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Alleo portal using your admin credentials

  2. Locate the "Pension" tab in the portal's sidebar

  3. Click on the "Pension" tab


Export flex pension data


Exporting flex pension data will give you all the information required to process payouts and payroll depending on the employee payout preferences.

The report will include the following fields

  • User ID - Alleo employee ID

  • Name - employee name

  • User status - shows active and inactive users

  • Email - employee email

  • Pension IBAN - The Brand New Day pension IBAN number (only applicable to employees who select pension or split payout)

  • Selection period - Time frame employee selection is active

  • Payout preference - Pension, Salary, or Split

  • Budget total - The total balance available pension, salary, or a split contribution

  • Pension allocation - The total going to the employee pension account

  • Salary allocation - The total going to employee salary

  • Memo - Memo field required by Brand New Day for pension contributions

  • Period - The date range during which the selection or benefit was active.


View Individual Employee Data


To view data for a specific employee, follow these steps:

  1. Search for the employee you would like to view

  2. Click on the employee's name in the search results


New period


At the start of a new period Employees will have an open window of time to select or adjust their flex pension payout preference. We recommend exporting the report and processing payments at the end of this period.

*The default selection is a Salary payout, if no choice is made during the selecting period.
