Swapfiets benefit, sign up and switch process, cancellation policy

Swapfiets monthly benefit is available for both new and existing ClassPass members.


Available subscription types


All available subscription types can be found within the app. The offerings may vary depending on the company, and you only have access to the benefits displayed in your Alleo app.

Please be aware that Swapfiets does not support split payments, meaning your monthly budget should be equal to or higher than the desired Swapfiets subscription you wish to select. For instance, if your monthly budget is €25, you can only choose a Swapfiets subscription with a monthly cost below €25.

It is not possible to save up monthly budget or use one-off budget for any monthly benefits including Swapfiets.


Registration steps


  1. Selecting the Benefit

    Once you have found the Swapfiets benefit in the Alleo app, confirm your selection.

    *Please note that the budget contribution for the selected option will be deducted from your budget as soon as you confirm your choice.

  2. Email Confirmation and Registration

After selecting the Swapfiets benefit, you will receive an email with further instructions for the registration or switch process.

  • Registration Link - this link is provided for users who do not have an existing Swapfiets subscription.

    By following the registration link, you can create a new account with Swapfiets and request a bike.

  • Switch form - for users who are already Swapfiets users. Once you fill up the form, it will be sent to Swapfiets.

    Switch will take effect on the first day of the following month. Swapfiets requires up to 5 working days to process the switch, so ensure that you submit the form at least 5 working days before the end of the month. Your budget deduction will be adjusted to align with the switch date.


Cancellation policy


Swapfiets benefit can be cancelled on a monthly basis. There is 1 month cancellation policy and cancellation is only complete when you return the bike. There are three different scenarios for cancellation, each with its own steps to follow.

  1. User wants to cancel subscription completely and return the bike

    To cancel your subscription, contact Swapfiets directly and arrange for the return of the bike. You can find more information on how to cancel your subscription on the Swapfiets website.

    Please note that the cancellation is only considered complete when the bike is returned. Your budget will be adjusted accordingly, and if necessary, refunded with a one-month delay. If you require a refund sooner, please contact Alleo support via the app chat with proof of bike return confirmation, and we will assist you.

  2. User wants stop using budget for Swapfiets subscription and continue paying to Swapfiets directly

    If you wish to stop using your budget for the Swapfiets subscription and instead pay Swapfiets directly, please contact Alleo support via the app chat. We will assist you in switching your subscription to a consumer plan, which will take effect on the first day of the following month.

  3. User ends employment and loses access to the Alleo app and budget

    No action required. In the event that your employment ends and you lose access to the Alleo app and budget, your Swapfiets subscription will be switched to a consumer plan. This means you can continue using the bike while paying for it yourself.
