📱 App Basics & Using Alleo

  1. How do I request a new login code if the one I received has expired?

    This is automatically generated and send to your mail, if you fill in your email address on the login page.

  2. Can I log in using a personal email address if my company-issued email doesn't work?

    You can only log into Alleo using the email address your employer provided to Alleo. In some cases, this may be your personal email address. Typically, you will receive a welcome email at the address registered with Alleo.

  3. Can I change my email address in Alleo?

    Your email address in the Alleo app can only be updated by your employer.

  4. Do I need to download a separate app, or can I access Alleo through a browser?

    You can make use of both options. Here you can find the browser version. See here how to download the app.

  5. Can I use Alleo on multiple devices, and will my data sync automatically?

    Yes, you can use Alleo in both browser and app at the same time. You won't be logged out on one of the devices. Data will sync automatically (like purchases and changes in your budget).

  6. What should I do if I’m locked out of my Alleo account?

    If you are no longer employed by the company that provided you access to Alleo, your access to the app is revoked. If that's not the case, please contact support@alleo.nl, they can check behind the scenes what might be the cause of the issue.

  7. Is two-factor authentication required every time I log in?

    At the moment, the two-factor authentication is not mandatory. Your employer, however, can set this up as mandatory, then you need to

  8. How do I change my preferred language in the app?

    You can change this via Profile > scroll down to Settings > Language > select English or Dutch.

  9. Where can I see an overview of all my benefits in one place?

    Via Profile > Purchases, you can see all of your purchased benefits (subscriptions, one offs and Promos).

  10. How can I enable push notifications?

    You can enable push notifications in the app by going to:
    Profile > Settings > Notifications.

  11. How secure is the Alleo app and where is my data stored?

  12. Where can I find my company policy?

    If your employer shares company policies via Alleo, you can find them in the Home tab.

  13. Can I fully delete my account?

    To delete your Alleo account, please contact us at support@alleo.nl or via the in-app chat.


💳 Budget – Understanding, managing & using Alleo budgets

  1. What are the different types of budgets I can have in the Alleo app?

    Depending on your employment benefits, you can have an employer contribution (extra budget on top of your salary), tax-free budget (a part of your gross salary) or an extra budget for: Learning & Development, Health or a bike (usually this is also an employer contribution). Find all the information here.

  2. How can I check my current budget balances?

    You can view your budget card in the Home or Market tabs. By clicking on the budget card, you’ll see details such as your current balance, yearly limit, amount already used, and monthly available budget.

  3. Can my budget be carried over the next month or year?

    There may be a limit on how much you can save each month/year. If you’re unsure, contact Alleo support team via the in-app chat or contact your HR department for assistance.

  4. How often is my budget topped up – monthly, quarterly, or yearly?

    The timing of your budget allocation depends on your employer. You may receive it monthly, yearly, or at other specific times throughout the year. When new budget is added, you’ll receive a push notification—provided push notifications are enabled on your phone.

  5. Can I split a payment between my Alleo budget and my own money?

    Only in cases of gym subscriptions, you can choose the Alleo-budget you want to use for it and arrange the rest of the payment, outside Alleo with the benefit provider. For other subscriptions, like Swapfiets, you can not split the payment and can only use Alleo budget.

  6. What happens if I don’t use my full budget before it expires?

    If your company resets budgets monthly or yearly for example, the remaining amount will be deducted from your Alleo account and returned to your employer. If you are unsure about budget reset, please contact your HR.

  7. How do I know which products or services are eligible under each budget category?

    In Alleo you can find your budget card(s) in the Market, you can then tap various categories. If you have a Learning Budget, it could be that for example the category Food is not available but when you switch to Free To Spend (employer contribution), it shows up again. Your employer decides what you may spend your budget on.

  8. Can my budget be transferred to a colleague?

    It cannot be transferred to a colleague (yet), but this is a known wish! At the moment, as the budget is made available by your employer, they decide if you can give your budget to someone else.

  9. Are there spending limits for different types of benefits?

    You are free to spend your available budget as you like. Each benefit will display its specific rules and availability. Some benefits can only be purchased once, while others may only accept one voucher per transaction (for example, certain stores or websites don’t allow multiple vouchers in a single purchase).

  10. Can I request additional budget for special cases or events?

    As we add budget on HR approval, you will need to ask your HR directly about this.

  11. Why can't I use my Alleo budget for Promos?
    Promos are exclusive collective discounts and special offers only available in the Alleo app. In the app, promos are clearly labeled as "promo". These can include:

    • Discount Codes:
      You might receive a discount code for subscriptions, shops, or gift cards.

    • Gift Card Purchases via iDEAL:
      Some promos allow you to purchase gift cards with a discount using iDEAL. Perks are paid directly by you and are not deducted from your budget. Note that gift card purchases using discounts are non-refundable.

  12. Why does my Rewards count show 0?
    Your employer sets specific goals that correspond to earning Rewards points. When you meet these goal requirements, Rewards points are assigned to you automatically. For some goals, you may need to manually select or claim them in the Alleo app.

💻 Troubleshooting & Support

  1. I cannot log in (no login code received, or the code isn't working/shows as invalid), what now?

    • Delete all previously received codes from your inbox and request one new code and wait for it without closing the app

    • Try logging in through a browser instead of the smartphone app: https://app.alleo.nl/

    • If possible, use a computer or open an incognito/private browsing window. Alternatively, try a different internet connection.

    • Restart your phone.

    • Try connecting via another internet connection on your phone (e.g., switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data).

    • Clear cache and cookies on both your computer and phone.

  2. The login code still doesn't arrive/doesn't seem to work, what now?
    If you’re not receiving the code on your registered email, we can add your private or an alternative email address to your user account. This way, you can check if the code arrives there and works correctly.

  3. I cannot open Alleo on my tablet (or view it correctly), why?
    Our app was not built for tablets or iPads. The sizing is therefore incorrect, which will prevent you from correctly view the Alleo app.
