What is the Alleo Budget?
The Alleo Budget is a one-time or monthly allowance provided by your employer, which you can use within the Alleo app. The amount of this allowance is determined by your employer.
You will find your budget overview in the app. Take a look at the budget card to see what is available.
Types of budgets
There are different types of Alleo Budget:
Market budget
This budget is an additional contribution from your employer, not linked to your salary.
Flexible compensation
This can include your salary, holiday allowance, pension contribution or for example end of year bonus.
Rewards and celebrations
This includes bonus budgets for works anniversary, birthdays, completed tasks or achieved goals.
Market budget
This is an extra contribution made by your employer. It can be spent on benefits in the marketplace or other features, depending on your company's benefits package. This budget can be either a monthly allowance or a one-off amount. Monthly allowances are added to your Alleo account on the 1st day of each month.
Monthly Budget Usage: If you receive a monthly budget, it can be used for monthly benefits, for example gym membership. The cost of these benefits should not exceed your fixed monthly budget. For example, if your monthly budget is €20, you can only allocate up to €20 towards a monthly subscription. Saving up your budget for monthly benefits is not possible.
Saving for Larger Expenses: If you want to save your monthly budget for larger, one-time expenses, you can do so unless your employer specifies otherwise. If you are unsure whether you can save up your budget, please contact our support team via the in-app chat.
One-off budget usage: A one-off budget is a single allowance provided for one-off benefits. It cannot be used for monthly benefits.

Gift budget
The Gift Budget is a one-off allowance that your employer may provide you on special events like birthdays, work anniversaries, or other supported occasions. This budget is specifically designated for Gift benefits.
To access and spend your Gift Budget, go to the Home screen. If you have any Gift budget, it will be visible as a budget card. You don’t have to use your entire budget at once—you can divide it and spend it on different gift cards as you like. However, the gift budget is separate from your Market balance and can only be used for specific gift cards.
Flexible compensation
Flexible compensation lets you use part of your salary for benefits, buying or selling extra leave days, or requesting payouts. The available options depend on your company’s policies, so be sure to check with your employer for details. Here you will find more information of Flex Salary and Flex leave.
Flex pension budget
The Flex Pension Budget allows you the flexibility to contribute towards your pension or add it to your salary. Please note that the availability of a flexible pension budget is subject to your company's policy. If you do not see this budget within the Alleo platform, it means that it is currently unavailable for you.
To access your Flex Pension Budget, go to to the Home section.
This budget is specifically allocated for either pension or salary purposes and cannot be used for other benefits available in the Alleo app. For more information on the Flex Pension budget go here:
Carryover penalty
Typically, you can save your budget. This means that any remaining amount at the end of the month will carry over to the following month's budget. However, there might be a limit on how many months this rollover is allowed, which is determined by your employer.
If you exceed the allowed amount, a carry over penalty will be applied. Your employer determines whether there's a cap on the saved amount. If you're unsure about the rules regarding your budget, please reach out to Alleo support for clarification.
