The Alleo Gift & Celebrations feature allows employees to handpick their own gifts, adding a personal touch to enhance its significance and boosts engagement.
You can set up automatic budget allocation for the following events:
Birthdays: Ensure each employee's birthday is recognised and celebrated.
Work Anniversaries: Acknowledge the dedication and loyalty of employees on their work anniversaries.
How does is work?
The process is simplified through an automated setup. Birthday dates and anniversaries are captured through HR integrations or can be manually added via the Alleo Portal.
When the designated date (such as a birthday or work anniversary) arrives, the system automatically triggers the assignment of the gift budget to the employee.
How to set it up?
To enable automated birthday or work anniversary budget assignments, please contact your Customer Success Manager or reach out to our Support team at admin-support@alleo.nl.
Budget Amounts
The budget for the gift is determined by you as the employer. You have the flexibility to set the amount you'd like to allocate for each celebration. Here's how it works:
Birthday Celebrations: You can assign a single default budget that applies to all birthday celebrations. This means that each employee's birthday will be recognised with the same preset amount.
βWork Anniversary Celebrations: You can assign specific budget amounts for different work anniversary years. For example, set different budgets for the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 10th years of service.
How will employees know they've received a gift?
On the designated day, employees will be notified via email and a push notification on their phone. (Note: Push notifications are only sent to employees who have them enabled in their device settings.)
In the app, employees will see a Celebration card displayed on the Home screen.
Additionally, there is the option to set up an automated email that is triggered upon gift budget assignment. For custom email content, contact admin-support@alleo.nl.

Can I allocate the budget to the marketplace instead of dedicated gift cards?
It is possible to assign automated budgets directly to the general marketplace budget. In this case, the employee will not see a celebration card or personal message on the Home screen. However, an automated email notification can still be sent to inform them of the budget allocation.
